Mama Style: WHAT I WORE

top/hat-target, shorts/boots- charlotte russe, bag-vintage

Day two of the Blues Fest is summed up in one word, awesome. We didn't get to take the tot since she fell asleep so she stayed with grandma. Before we headed to the festival we had to take pictures of my second concert outfit. What do you guys think? It's late and I'm going to snuggle with the tot while daddy is off with a friend checking out all the after parties, he's one lucky papa.

Mama Style: Yesterday's Outfit

What do you guys think of what I wore yesterday to my first Blues Concert? I actually wore this to work but just changed shoes. I search google to find photos of Blues Concert attire but had no luck. So I just decided to wear what I had on. If you didn't notice I had feathers put in my hair, my hunny has been wanting me to get them for quite sometime now, so I surprised him with a text picture and when I arrived home from work and of course he loved them. We had such a great time at the first Blues Fest in my town. We're going today to take the tot, so that she can experience music at an early age since she loves it just as much as daddy. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she hears the band play and to see her dance to the beat, she's such a cutie when it comes to dancing. I'll be sure to take a video of her. Well I hope you all have a wonderful, Saturday.

Mama Style: WHAT I WORE

top/shorts/shoes- forever21, bag-vintage

As we speak I am enjoying a relaxing night eating a blueberry muffin and listening to the rain that my town has been eagerly waiting for. It has been months since we've seen a drop of rain. We honestly need this rain since we're restricted to water usage not so good when your trying to fill up the kiddo pool so that the tot could swim. I'm working on a little project that I can't wait to share and hopes that it goes perfect. Have a great night, guys.

Mama Style: WHAT I WORE

top- charlotte russe, shorts- forever21, pumps- shoedazzle, clutch/hat- vintage

I am a total hat collector and by that I want every single hats out there. Although I am rather picky when it comes to what type of hat I want and would wear. Now for this particular hat I fell madly in love. When I was on vacation in Arkansas we stopped by a flea market and as I was searching high and low I found one section that had tons of vintage goodies. I felt like a kid in candy store but the sad thing was nothing fit me everything was in a bigger size. But the person who owned this section had an incredible taste for clothing and accessories. When I found this hat I had to have and so I did. Isn't it a beauty. I'm trying out new things with my photos combining them and showing off more of my shoes and bags. What do you guys think?

Funny things

This is the tots all time favorite book. I read it to her every night and have it memorized. It's so cute that she knows every page and exactly what I will read to her. I don't think she'll out grow this book. If you haven't read this to your little one, I highly recommend it.

Goodness it has been such a fun filled weekend for my fam and I but what better way to spend it with those you love. I wore this outfit to one of my friend's little boys birthday party yesterday. The tot had such a great time that she didn't want to leave, poor thing. After the party we decided we'd go to the drive in and watch, "Captain America and Transformers," double feature for just $12 bucks for two people of course you can't beat that deal. We didn't make it home until 2 AM talk about sleeping in on a Sunday morning. I will do a post pictures of our weekend followed with my instagram recaps tomorrow. Well I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend as we have.

Crafty Rooms

Everyday I dream of how my craft room will look like a little bit of modern with a vintage touch. I can picture it in my head how neatly everything will be put in place and how each area will hold a story. Oh to dream!! Someday I will have my dream craft room but for now I'll settle with what I have. We all can dream right...

For some reason I thought today was Wednesday that I created my craft post for today instead of my everyday Tuesday food craves. Last year Justin and I went to Las Vegas, there was this place that served nothing but crepes, my favorite was the banana with chocolate and boy was it delicious. I've attempted to make this delicious goodie but it always manage to fail maybe this weekend I will have to try out this recipe and let you guys know how it was. So enjoy!!!

Ingredients:
2/3 cup - flour
1/3 cup - sugar
1 - egg
1 - egg white
1/4 cup - vegetable oil
1/4 cup - skim milk
1 tsp - unsweetened chocolate powder

Method
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add all liquid ingredients and stir until batter is smooth and creamy.
  3. Let batter rest in the refrigerator until the air is settled, about 2 hours.
  4. When ready to prepare crepes, heat crepe pan over medium heat and pour 1/3 to 1/4 cup of the batter into hot pan.
  5. Rotate pan until batter is cooked through and then turn to cook the other side.
  6. When done remove from pan and let cool on a rack.
  7. Store until ready to serve.
  8. May be made one to two days ahead of time.
