I'm counting down the days of when my hunny will be graduating which will be next Friday. We are beyond thrilled that he has worked, sacrificed and accomplished so much in the past two years. After graduation he still has to take the state board exam to get certified has a registered nurse but I know will do great. I have been loving maxi dresses lately and finding the right length for a short person like myself can be rather difficult I happened to snatch this baby at Target for on sale for $25. I can't believe that it has been almost a month since I did a style post and I must add that I miss it so much but with our busy schedule we hardly have to time to take any photos. If you have instagram you'll find me more on there under my blog name. It is getting close to my hunny graduating, which by the way is May 11th and we are happy that it's coming to an end and that our new life will soon unfold. We have been searching for a house to rent but it's crazy here right now with people taking anything that gets put on market. We will be living in a townhouse for the time being. I really miss all of you and your blog. I hope once this madness is all over with I can get back to my regular schedule blogging. I almost forgot to mention that I ombred my hair a few weeks back. I still need to go higher and maybe to go a tad bit lighter but I love it. Well have a great day.

There weather here has been nice in the mornings but as it hits the afternoon it's dreadful. I'm glad that I'm able to wear skirts and dresses without tights. I'm so busy now a days preparing for my daughter's 3rd birthday in less then two weeks. So I may be MIA for while here on the blog. Over the weekend I had a chance to wear my newest purchase, now before having Asa I would buy expensive shoes but now I a mom on a budget. You won't see me buying designer items unless I must have it. I can still be in style on a budget, right? Well I snagged these baby on Hautelook for $65 and last pair in my size. I saw them at Dillard's for $130 I think and I was happy to see them at Hautelook. The tot and I spent our Saturday shopping and having a mother/daughter day and then later daddy took me to the movies. It was a great weekend. I haven't posted any insta photos and I really need too. Hopefully I will starting posting weekly instas rather then my weekend. Well I hope you all had a great weekend.

Yay, two days in a row posting an outfit. I'm really excited that summer is just around the corner and that the time changed as well. Today we are on our way to head out of town to visit Justin's dad in the hospital and to take Asa to the zoo for the first time. We've told her what our plan was for today but she doesn't seem to understand the concept of what a zoo consists of but I know she will be excited to see so many different animals. We are ready to go out of town and have a family day. Hope you guys have a great weekend.

Well haven't I been a stranger here on the blog. These past few weeks has been a roller coaster ride for all of us. As of right now we are enjoying our week with daddy since he is on Spring Break and will return to finish his last few weeks on Monday. We are eagerly waiting for him to finish so that we may start our future. I have to admit it was nice taking a break from the blogging world just to clear your mind and spend it with family. I also joined the gym, finally for almost 4 weeks now and have been loving it so far. Last week the tot was sick for a week with tonsillitis so mama was here to comfort, care and love her oh so much. Not only was I taking care of her but also have been working on my top secret project that I can wait to share...soon I will! I have been making a few visits to my local Goodwill store and am so glad I did I have scored adorable vintage dresses for little girls, that I hope in the future I may have, these pants I am currently wearing and among other things. I must say it has been such a long time since I've posted an outfit. Now a days it's rather difficult too when you have your hunny at clinicals all the time and there's no one to take them. I have been doing a little shopping and updating my wardrobe. Also I've been working on a little project that I will soon release and can't wait to share with everyone. Remember when I said I haven't been in the mood to dress up well when it came to putting this outfit together today I was excited. This is by far my most favorite outfit thus far. What really pulled this outfit together was the necklace. Ever feel that way about an accessory? Well it's fashion week and I'm ready to see new trends for this year. As for me I'm not lucky enough to be front row at some of the most amazing shows but I guess I'll just surf the net and see what designers have come up with.

Hey, guys! I have been thinking a lot well about my style in general. I don't have a specific style but when I get up in the morning I stare at my closet thinking I don't anything to wear knowing that I can easily put an outfit together in less then two seconds. I guess when I tell myself that my specific style consists of a mix of boho chic meets vintage while having an affair with romantic garments. I try my best to dress in clothes I like and that I know is age appropriate for me. I'm hitting the big 28 this year and I just can not dress how I used to. I mean I don't want to dress like an old lady sporting a mumu dress (if that is even the correct term). Now I've put this work attire outfit together on Polyvore. It has been a long time since I've use Polyvore and that was over 2 years ago when I first opened my account. I wanted to create outfits that I can showcase here on the blog so I created one directly for my blog. I love that you can find anything and everything and now that you can direct it to your blog is so much fun and beats having to use any photoshop to create a collage. If any of you fine readers out there using it lets follow each other. I will have sets created in different catergories. I hope you enjoy a somewhat new post here on the blog. Hey, guys! How's it going? Remember on my last post about my recent purchase, well here it is these amazing boots. I've worn them twice already and I can't get enough of them. They are by far my most favorite boots purchased. They are so comfy and I don't feel so short wearing them. I have been searching high and low for boots like these. Your probably wondering why I've been wearing this denim jacket so much. To be honest it's by far my most favorite go to jacket when I'm in a hurry or when the weather calls for something light to wear. I must say it went perfect with what I hadn't planned on wearing today. Do any of my fellow bloggers, have facebook? According to yahoo news that the new timeline layout was permanent and the change for every one's facebook profile would be mandatory the end of this month. I personally hate the look of it. I may be shutting my facebook down and use my twitter account. Since Saturday I have been on a rampage getting so many likes for my daughter's photo for a contest and we're in the lead but still have four days until the contest ends.
