When I first saw this top why not turn it into a dress and that's exactly what I did. Justin and I have been finding such amazing locations to take my photos that we both await for when I'm ready to take pictures of my outfits. I can't believe how fast this month has gone by and we're almost half way through the year. The end of June we are all going to Hot Springs Arkansas for our family vacation and let me tell you how excited I am not only because I'm ready to get out of Midland but I've been searching for thrift and vintage shops to find amazing items for me to add to my collection. It has been such a great day and I hope you guys had a great one, too.

Tasty Tuesday

strawberry shortcake popsicles Strawberry Shortcake Popsicles: A Surprising Summer Treat
source- babble

I have always wanted to make homemade Popsicles and finding this strawberry shortcake recipe I'm dying to try out with Asa. She's at that age where I feel more comfortable with her helping me with a few things around the kitchen and I'm sure we'll have fun making these. Here is the recipe for you to try.

Strawberry Shortcake Popsicles (adapted from Bakers Royale)
makes 12 Popsicles

2 cups fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
1/2 cup crushed Nilla wafers
2 cups plain whole milk yogurt
1/3 cup honey (more if desired)
12 6 oz. Dixie cups
wooden Popsicle sticks

In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Nilla wafers, yogurt, and honey. Set out 12 6 oz. Dixie cups, and fill each one with 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture. Set in the freezer to chill for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, puree the berries. Divide the berries among the 12 cups, and freeze for another 30 minutes.

Finally, divide the remaining yogurt mixture among the cups, add a Popsicle stick to each one, and chill completely, several hours or more.
To serve, simply cut or tear the cup off.

dress- ross, denim jacket- wetseal, blue pumps- charlotte russe, sunnies- forever21

I rarely wear sunglasses only because I can never find any that I like or that will fit my face (well that will stay on). I purchased these a year ago at forever21 and I loved the shape and feel of them. I have been on a dress frenzy buying them at Ross, such a great and affordable place. If you see me posting pictures of dresses then you will know why.
